Ecommerce / Retail

The Challenge:

Maslow were approached by a new SAP (SoH) customer to assist with a hiring strategy. This customer is in the retail / logistics / e-commerce space and experienced a difficult implementation period with numerous standard SAP elements having not been set up correctly. They required help with SAP Hybris Advisory, SAP MRP, SAP Warehousing & Inventory, SAP Sales & Logistics and SAP Finance.
We were asked to provide advice on available SAP talent, consultancy / contractor rates, salaries, time to hire and to provide a competitor analysis on how other similar businesses have set up their SAP teams / functions. This allowed for them to decide on budgets and time to hire via Maslow Vs using a consulting partner.

The Solution:

Maslow were subsequently awarded the work and provided a cost effective ‘Statement of Work’ solution for SAP Hybris advisory as well as having SAP MRP set up and configured correctly. We also supplied high quality permanent talent for SAP SD, WM, Finance, and an SAP Architect.

Manufacturing

The Challenge:

Maslow were asked to tender for a medium sized SAP recruitment project to supply 18 SAP experts on a permanent basis across the UK, Spain and Germany. This customer is in the manufacturing space and has a T/O of circa €6bn with an upcoming global S/4HANA implementation. The majority of the resource required industry experience, the client also required a recruitment consultancy with a wide and deep reach across Europe as they operate a fully remote working structure.

The Solution:

Due to Maslow’s experience working within the manufacturing industry coupled with offering our ‘Maslow Collaborate’ service, we were successful in securing the work. We set SLAs, created marketing material to enhance candidate attraction and advised on creating a slick hiring process. Our CV to Interview Ratio was consistently 1:1 and an interview to offer ratio of 3:1. Requirements filled included multiple hires for: FICO, PP, LO-VC, SD, WM, MM, SAP EDI, ABAP, BI, Data Analysis, SAP Security and Project Management.

FMCG

The Challenge:

We were contacted by one of Europe’s largest consumer goods brands in their specialism. This customer had not hired into their SAP team for many years and had recently signed off an international S/4HANA implementation, as such, they required assistance with salary benchmarking, time-to-hire, and availability of skills in the local area, this was months in-advance of their hiring needs so they could plan and budget accordingly.

The Solution:

We offered our ‘Maslow’s Generate’ service and operated as a sole agency, with set periods of exclusivity for each vacancy. We were successful in filling over 100% of their requirements, including Fiori/ABAP, FICO, CO-PC, PP, EWM, SD, SAP BPOs and an ERP Manager.

Consultancy

The Challenge:

A boutique consultancy was appointed to manage the implementation of SAP SuccessFactors across all modular areas. Maslow were referred to the Programme Director in Munich after another recruitment business were unable to supply the right calibre of consultants for both the German and UK projects.

The Solution:

We reviewed and advised on budgets, assisted with IR35 reviews, and tapped into our extensive network to introduce and secure a SuccessFactors Team within 10 days (start to finish) to deliver the functional and technical delivery of the 18-month project. Consultants supplied were – Project Manager, Test Lead, Test Analyst, Functional Lead, Data Lead and Integration Lead.
